Fall Sports Update

Click below for an update on how all of our Upper School and Middle School sports teams are doing.
High School Athletics
Soccer
Following an exciting opening match Win over Open Door Christian School, Varsity Soccer is still looking to regain the form they hit last season. Following two closes against Cornerstone Christian and Independence, first year Head Coach, Drago Dumbovic, will go into next week looking for bounce back results against Lake Ridge Academy and Canton Central Catholic. Andrews Osborne will look to regain their home field advantage against LRA on Tuesday (5 PM) before heading down to Canton for another 5 PM kick-off on Thursday.

Volleyball
It's been a busy start to the season for our Varsity Volleyball girls. Playing 7 matches over the first two weeks of the season, AOA Varsity stands at 3-4 on the year. Two straight dominant wins over St. Martin de Porres and Cornerstone Christian turned the other way when they met Hawken and Wickliffe this past week. Going into the weekend, Coach Larmar Hicks will have his girls ready to host Hearts for Jesus Christ on Monday following the Junior Varsity match at 5:30. JV stands at 3-3 on the year.

Tennis
Coming off two hotly contested matches this week that both ended in 3-2 defeats, AOA Women's Tennis (1-5) looks to find their stride next week when they travel to Lake Catholic High School for a match at 4:30 PM.

Cross Country
Andrews Osborne put on a stellar display at last week's Lawrence Invitational. AOA's girls were the stars of the meet, finishing 2nd overall. Leading this charge were standout performances from Tai Roberts (1st), Jane Hammond (4th), and Aubrey Welchans (5th). AOA boys finished 4th overall at the meet, headlined by Yiyou Zhou (24th overall)

Golf
With only one match under their belt so far, Varsity Golf (0-1) gears up for a busy week next week. AOA will face up with St. John School (Tuesday), Lawrence School (Thursday), and Lake Ridge Academy (Friday). All matches will take place at Briardale Golf Course. Jackson Okumura and Paden Ikeda were the standout performers in the first match against Lake Ridge Academy.

Middle School Athletics
Soccer
Three games into the season now, our Middle School boys have found the back of the net twice in each of their games, resulting in one tie and two losses. Our boys will hit the field again twice next week, hosting Cleveland Heights (Tuesday) and St. John School (Thursday). Both matches will begin at 4:15.

Volleyball
Pushing out to a strong start to the season, Allie Royer and Iris Parker were named Andrews Osborne Academy's Athletes of the Week. As a team, AOA's girls now stand at 3-1 on the year and look to continue their success into next week when they travel to Community Christian School on Thursday for a 4:30 PM match.

Tennis
Following two big wins to begin the year, our Middle School girls had their first taste of defeat against Perry Middle School, dropping by a close score of 4-5-4. AOA will look to exact their revenge against Perry when they play host to the Pirates next Wednesday on our home course.
