Fall Sports Teams Dominate Lake Effect Conference
AOA volleyball, soccer and golf teams played key roles in dominating the conference! Click below for full story.
Varsity volleyball and varsity soccer both capped off undefeated conference seasons by winning back-to-back conference championships on October 14! Both teams also boasted the conference MVP in their respective sport (Xavia Fields-VB, Andres Solares-Soccer) and had the most 1st Team All-Conference selections:
Soccer: Andres Solares, Steven Herrera, Arnaud Dushime, Jay Sminchak and Jon Dalton
Volleyball: Xavia Fields, Alaiyah Fields, Jocelyn Carter and Nevena Panic
Varsity golf came in 2nd place in their first year as a team, with Jelena Lainovic also being voted as the conference overall MVP and 1st Team selection. Though they did not place in the top two as a team, the varsity cross country team was led in their championship race by Danny Gallagher and Muluh Chi, who finished in 2nd and 4th respectively.
