Robotics Throwdown in Graham Gymnasium

Teams spend the morning building a robot from scratch to use for battle in the afternoon. There are two age divisions (4th and 5th Graders, and 6th through 9th Graders). In order to participate, you will need to have a Lego Robotics kit that will most likely need to be supplied by your respective school though some students may have their own kit. Student teams must be composed of 3-4 participants from the same age division (Students have to form their own teams with the help of their parents). The cost per participant is $15 (registration info will be released approximately one month prior to the ThrowDown!). Here is a video of TD!5 to give you a better idea of what the event looks like:
