Clubs & Organizations

At Andrews Osborne Academy we feel it is important to build self-reliant and curious individuals. Our rigorous curriculum is just one way we accomplish this.
AOA offers a wide variety of opportunities for students to get involved and find something they are truly passionate about. Our clubs help to bring together our diverse student body and provide a rich immersion of different perspectives within the scope of athletics, the arts, student government, academic competitions, and philanthropic efforts.

Having the opportunity to experience different clubs and activities allows our students to explore many different interests. Once a week Middle and Upper School students have a designated club time built into their daily schedules. With the variety of clubs offered, there is something for everyone. Students may pursue the same club year after year or experiment with a different one each semester. Our students also have the opportunity to join clubs and organizations that meet outside the school day. These clubs often require an additional commitment from the students as well as the ability to manage their time efficiently. The benefits are worthwhile as in the case of Mock Trial, where students prepare both sides of a fictional case and compete against other schools in a local courtroom.

Whether it is working in the Admissions Office as a Blue Key Club ambassador for prospective students or writing for the School’s Literary Magazine, we are always adding, changing and creating new and exciting extracurricular opportunities for our students. Whatever your interests may be, there is an avenue and an opportunity to explore them at AOA.

AOA Student

The student body, being so diverse, has many different passions and interests that aren’t necessarily covered through AOA’s clubs or extracurricular selections. The diversity is so great that it would be almost impossible to cover everything. “Because of this, students are not afraid to create clubs, groups, and organizations, knowing that others will be sensitive, interested, and receptive. I know that, with this in mind, I can explore passions and engage in activities I otherwise might not have and I learned very quickly that I can put my ideas into actions.
