Boys Basketball

Rudy Kirbus is entering his 5th season as the Varsity Boys Basketball Coach at Andrews Osborne Academy.  During his time leading the varsity program at AOA, numerous players have received All-State Honors and the team has advanced to the District round of the OHSAA playoffs.  The program has also placed recent graduates at various NCAA colleges across the United States.  Prior to his time at AOA, Coach Kirbus spent seven years as a college basketball assistant coach at John Carroll University and Case Western Reserve University.  Coach Kirbus was a decorated student-athlete during his own playing career and is a member of the Athletic Hall of Fame at both Saint Ignatius High School and John Carroll University.  Aside from his coaching duties, Coach Kirbus serves as the Athletic Director at Andrews Osborne Academy.  Coach Kirbus lives on campus with his wife Katie, who is also a teacher at AOA, and newborn daughter Palmer.
