Who receives a scholarship?
A Lynn Pippenger College Promise Scholarship will be set up for every student in the Fifth Grade at AOA (beginning with the current Fifth Grade – the Class of 2025) who stays enrolled in Andrews Osborne Academy through graduation.
What will the amount of the scholarship be?
The amount of the scholarship will be equal to 10% of the tuition the family has paid in grades 5-12, with a cap of $15,000.
How will the scholarship be paid out?
Beginning in the spring of the student’s Senior year at AOA, the school will make 4 annual payments to the college or university to which the student will be matriculating - each payment equal to one fourth of the total amount of the scholarship.
If my child leaves AOA before Twelfth Grade and graduates from another institution, do we still receive the scholarship?
No. The scholarship dollars for any student who leaves AOA before graduation will be returned to the general pool and will be used for future students.
Will future Fifth Grade students also receive scholarships?
Yes! Our intention is to continue the Lynn Pippenger College Promise Scholarship in perpetuity.
