Cross Country Runners Making Noise at AOA

Ahnai Welchans ('28) ran the State Cross Country meet Monday morning in Columbus. Welchans was exceptional in her run, placing 49th out of 215 total girls that qualified for the race. Welchans posted a time of 14:29 in the two mile run.
Tai Roberts ('22) ran with AOA's Varsity Country team in the District Meet over the weekend, finishing 7th overall with a time of 19:53 in the 5K race. This finish was good enough to qualify Roberts for the State's Regional Meet this Saturday, October 30. Please join us in wishing Tai best of luck while she strives to make it to Columbus for the OHSAA State Meet.
While Roberts was the lone student-athlete from Andrews Osborne to advance, 6 total runners left the District Meet having posted their personal bests in their career.
