Boys Basketball Wins Melanie Williams! Girls Place 3rd
Led by tournament MVP Enrique Gil-Garcia and All Tournament selections Arturo Sanchez and TJ Chapman, the boys varsity basketball captured the championship of the 8th annual Melanie Williams Memorial Tournament! After falling to state ranked Lake Ridge in a closely fought semifinal game, the girls teams placed 3rd after defeating Richmond Heights 41-8. Paloma Felipe and Ari Story earned All Tournament honors for the girls team.
