Jay Valadez To Lead Women's Basketball Program
AOA Athletics is proud to introduce our new head girls basketball coach, Jay Valadez. Valadez comes to AOA after spending the 2016 season as an assistant coach at Lutheran East, helping guide them to a 18-6 season and their first playoff win in 6 years. He is also the Head Coach of the Shock, an AAU program, where he has an overall record of 57-11, with 8 tournament championships. Five of his former players have gone on to play collegiate basketball including WNBA draftee Rachel Tecca. We are excited to welcome Coach Valadez to the Phoenix community!
