BOYS BASKETBALL WINS 4TH STRAIGHT LEC CHAMPIONSHIP!
The boys varsity team defeated New Day Academy 48-42 to win its 4th consecutive Lake Effect Conference championship! TJ Chapman led the way with 18 points and 2 assists. Arturo Sanchez dominated the paint on both ends of the floor with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Enrique Gil-Garcia continued his efficient play with 9 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Sydney Adams led an incredible defensive effort that held New Day to its lowest scoring output of the year. Congratulations to seniors Weichen Liu, Tony Jiang and Josiah Collins who won conference championships each year of their high school careers! The team is 21-10 and concludes their season at the NCSAA National Championship tournament, March 3-5, in Mount Vernon, OH.
