  • 1. How to Apply

    If your family has not already completed an inquiry form and would like to apply to AOA, please click HERE.

    If your family has completed an online inquiry form, please login using your username and password HERE.

    An application Fee of $50 must be paid using a credit card when the completed application is submitted.

    Once the application is submitted, you will receive instructions to submit a birth certificate and a custodial agreement (divorced families - if applicable).

    We are now in a period of rolling admissions. Please begin the online application today. New applications are currently being reviewed and accepted.
  • 2. Recommendations

    English, Mathematics and Science recommendations are required from the applicant’s current teacher as part of the application. Please download the recommendation forms below. Complete the top part of the forms which includes the applicant name, date of birth, grade applying. Submit the printed recommendations to the applicant's current teacher. Completed recommendations are sent directly to Andrews Osborne Academy.

  • 3. Transcript

    Print the Transcript Request form. Complete the applicant name, date of birth, parent/guardian name, signature and date. The form must be submitted to the applicant’s current school. Transcripts from the current school must be sent directly to Andrews Osborne Academy.
  • 4. Testing

    Please submit ONE of the required standardized test scores

    ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam)

    Grades 6-12 applicants can register at www.iseetest.org to take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) or call (800) 989-3721. The ISEE can be taken at a variety of test sites and is administered by the Educational Records Bureau.  Results are sent directly to AOA from the testing company.  The cost to take the ISEE ranges from $100 to $200.  Andrews Osborne Academy ISEE school code: 365565.  Andrews Osborne Academy offers the ISEE on the following dates during the 2018-2019 academic year:

    SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test)

    Grades 6-12 applicants can register online at www.ssat.org to take the SSAT or call (609) 683-4440 with questions.  Results must be sent directly to AOA from the testing company.  The cost to take the SSAT ranges between $124 and $239.  Andrews Osborne Academy SSAT school code: 1274

    PSAT or SAT Reasoning Test (SAT I)

    Grades 11-12 applicants can register online to take the PSAT.  Applicants to grades 11-12 can register online to take the SAT.  Applicants can submit PSAT or SAT I results on the official school transcript, directly from the College Board, or photocopied from the family’s report.  Andrews Osborne Academy PSAT & SAT I school code: 365565

    ACT

    Applicants to Grade 12 can submit ACT results on the official school transcript, directly from the College Board, or photocopied from the family’s report. Grade 12 applicants can register online to take the ACT. Andrews Osborne Academy ACT school code: 365565
  • 5. Shadow Day and Interview

    Please contact the Office of Admission at (440) 942-3600 ext. 226 to schedule a shadow day and applicant interview. Interviews for boarding students can be done using Skype.
  • 6. Financial Assistance (if applicable)

    Need-based financial aid is available to qualifying USA students in Grades 1-12. Families must apply online at www.sssbynais.org/parents each year as award eligibility is determined solely by demonstrated need, based on the data from School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) and verified by the school.
