Parade the Circle Workshops

AOA needs you to join us in Parade the Circle on June 8th! This is the biggest event in University Circle and a great way to start your summer. This is a product of the Cleveland Museum of Art and routes from there around Wade Oval past the Botanical Garden, Western Reserve Museum, Cleveland Institute of Music and Natural History Museum.

It is an all are welcome walking art exhibition. The parade is open to all ages and abilities who want to show off their artistic side. The theme this year is “The Mythology of Illusion”. What a great theme for the Phoenix! We will be showing our fiery side with costumes, puppets, drums, and dancing. If you think this is something you would like to be involved in please join us at the creation and planning workshops.

Wednesday 5/15 5:00 - 7:00 pm
Friday 5/17 3:30 - 5:30 pm
Tuesday 5/21 6:00 - 8:00 pm

All workshops will be held in Mrs. Meyer’s room, the upper school art studio. Please RSVP if you plan to attend. You are welcome to come and create even if you can’t participate in the parade itself.
One (or two) additional meetings will happen prior to the parade to practice and prepare for the parade. Date and time TBA. Students in PK-7 will need an adult or upper school chaperon. Please make this an all family event. If you have additional questions or concerns please contact me at
