    Community Room / Observatory
    Lucy Kulbago is coordinating a moon-gazing event on October 5th at 7 PM for families. The theme for this session is geared to a younger audience – Goodnight Moon. The session will begin with Story Time, Craft then finish with gazing at the moon with AOA's telescope. Check-in will be held in Admissions.     We will do a workshop masterclass in the auditorium from 3:30 until 5. We will have a performance in the auditorium from 7 until 8:30.
     
    The title of the program will be "DUETS"featuring music by Jason Robert Brown from The Last 5 Years and more

    You are invited to a FREE Duets Concert featuring the music of Jason Robert Brown on October 10th at 7:00 p.m. in The AOA Auditorium. 

    Music performed by Colleen Longshaw*, Darryl Lewis, and Malik Khalfani* on piano. 

    Also performing are AOA students Kennedy Smith. V. Salotto, Angelina Salotto, Yves Luo, Loius Tran, Angela Rich, and some surprise guests. 

    *Toledo native Malik Khalfani is an award-winning music director currently active in Northeast Ohio. His work has been seen at Indiana University, Akron Civic Theatre, Near West Theatre, Toledo Repertoire Theatre, Cutting Edge Theatre Company, the Toledo School for the Arts, and others. He has been honored with awards at the Ohio Community Theatre Association’s OCTAFest, where he was recognized for Excellence in Vocal Direction and designated Outstanding in Vocal Ensemble for his work on Hairspray.
     
    *Colleen Longshaw is a Cleveland, Ohio native who holds an MFA in acting from Kent State University. Credits include: Kiss me, Kate (National Tour), The Groove Factory (New York Music Theatre Festival), Hairspray, Caroline or Change, Fences, The Full Monty, Piano Lesson, Sister Act, Aida, Starmites, Made in America, A Christmas Carol, The Color Purple, South Pacific, Dreamgirls, Once On This Island, Big River, Avenue X, Godspell, The Buddy Holly Story, Twelfth Night.

  • Cross Country 100 Miles Fundraiser

    Help us run 100 miles in one hour and learn more about AOA's Cross Country team from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 14th. Students will be escorted to the course after school. 
     
    Lower School students in grades 3rd - 5th and their families are welcome.

    Students who complete a mile will earn a dress down day! No registration fee but the team will welcome donations.
