About the Coaches

Russ Milicia joins AOA this fall as the new Head Volleyball Coach. Coach Milicia comes to AOA with a vast knowledge of volleyball and K-12 athletics having served previously as the middle school, JV, and Varsity coach at Hawken School. In addition, Milicia is currently the Sand Volleyball League Director for the City of Mayfield. Coaching the AOA Middle School Volleyball Team will be AOA 5th grade teacher, Michelle Huck. Coach Huck is also the Assistant Coach for the Varsity Volleyball Team and can be reached at mihuck@roadrunner.com. The other Assistant Coach for the Varsity Volleyball Team is Amy Hauenstein, who can be reached at ahauenstein@andrewsosborne.org. The Special Assistant Coach and Ball Boy is Colin Hawley.

The Varsity Team includes the following players:

AOA Volleyball Nation

Conditioning is scheduled for July 28, 2008 - August 1, 2008 3-4 p.m. Grades 7-12 (girls) will work on jump training, foot work, and agility training.

Varsity Practice begins August 4, 2008. Practice will be held Monday through Friday from 2-4 p.m. The season starts August 23, 2008.
