Our Mission, Philosophy, and Beliefs

Our Mission

Andrews Osborne Academy prepares students for higher education and empowers them to be successful leaders committed to serving in an international community.

Our Philosophy

All students are deserving of an education that will allow them to fully discover themselves, their strengths and weaknesses, and benefit from real world/life experiences.  Students should be exposed to cultures and experiences that they otherwise would not have the opportunity to encounter.  Students should be encouraged to think on their own as well as be creative.  They should become problem solvers and analytical thinkers and extend their ability to excel and compete in their greatest capacity.  Teachers and students should work together to create a dynamic learning community.  We seek to cultivate the curiosity and passion in every student.

Our Beliefs

We believe:

Students should learn in an environment that works principally through projects, teams and collaboration between both adults and students.

Students should be offered an education that measures success more broadly and creatively than by emphasis on grades and scores on standardized tests.

Students should learn in an environment that cultivates passion, interest, and ownership of learning.

Students should be offered an education where they will realize that the significance in what they learn will be more important than the successes they experience.
