Dear Friends of Andrews Osborne Academy,
On September 25, 2010, we celebrated 100 years of excellence in education at a Centennial Celebration attended by more than 450 alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends. The Phoenix Review – Annual Report and Centennial Viewbook was given to all those who attended the event and also mailed to you, the friends of Andrews Osborne Academy. Included in the publication are pictorial replications of panels now on display in the Jerome T. Osborne Administration Building, which showcase the highlights of the school’s 100 year history. Also highlighted are Division Updates that demonstrate the growth and success of the school since the merger and formation of Andrews Osborne Academy in 2007. As you will see, we have accomplished much in those three short years and we are pleased to share that the school is positioned for another 100 years of success.
As we look to the future, however, it is more important than ever that we continue to invest in the infrastructure, academic programs, technology and facilities that will be needed to maintain or exceed the level of excellence that our students and families have come to expect in an AOA education. We are looking to you, our parents, faculty, staff, alumni and friends to help us meet these goals.
The 2010-2011 Centennial Annual Fund Campaign, and other fundraising activities, help to provide the needed resources which tuition and fees alone do not cover. Your gift to the Annual Fund does make a difference. Last year, Annual Fund donations provided some of the resources that allowed us to:
- add coursework to all divisions
- increase athletic offerings
- construct tournament tennis courts
- upgrade technology with new computer labs
- add a robotics program for 3rd - 5th grade students
As you can see, your investment in our Annual Fund makes a significant difference in the educational opportunities we are able to provide, therefore making you an integral part of each student’s success.
