Competition

AOA offers a wide range of horse show opportunities. We encourage participation in a variety of equestrian events, including local schooling shows, IEA (Interscholastic Equestrian Association) team show, OPHA and USEF "A", "B", and "C" rated shows. Many rated shows are held right here on campus in our beautiful facility!

Central to the AOA Equestrian program is the IEA competition team. Students can join the team and participate in home and away shows. Students accumulate points individually, and also contribute to “team” points that allow an individual and team to qualify for Zone and National Finals. The AOA Equestrian Team is consistently ranked among the top in the country.

Students can participate in schooling and rated horse shows on an AOA school horse or on their own horse. Our program supports students who are serious competitors, as well as a student riding in their first show. Some students like to go on the road to hit the "big" shows. We have several success stories from our Florida circuit riders, and we are proud to offer one of the most academically supportive programs in the country! The Andrews Osborne Academy faculty understands that a strong student can meet his or her academic and competitive goals, and the art of balancing both can be the best lesson of all!
