Before and After School Care

Andrews Osborne Academy provides families with an Extended Day Program that offers before and after school care for Andrews Osborne students.

The program begins at 7:00 a.m. and closes at 6:00 p.m., and is staffed by a Program Director, two morning assistants, and two afternoon assistants.

The areas used for the program include the Enrichment Center and the Commons area outside of the second grade classrooms.
Children are taken to the playground area if the weather is nice.
The morning group of children range from three to eight years old and average eight to ten in number. The evening group of children range from three to twelve years of age, and usually number around twenty children.
Children are separated into two groups, and are engaged in activities appropriate to their age level.
The late afternoon program includes quiet time to allow for the completion of school homework assignments.
A snack is provided to students in the after-school program.
The cost of the program is minimal, averaging $1.20 for a quarter hour in either program.
